Dr. Fabio Fincati, MD is a sportsman, has a past as an athlete, has always been interested in cardiology applied to sport, and collaborates professionally with sports medicine centers, gyms and fitness centers.
Dr. Fabio Fincati is an expert in cardiovascular pathology and also in general vascular pathology.
Graduating in 1984 with honors in Milan Dr. Fincati continued his academic training specializing in Cardiology in 1988. His clinical experience includes working in the first division cardiology “De Gasperis” at the Hospital of Milan Niguarda, at Yale University, and at the Baylor School in Houston. Since 1990 he has participated in numerous scientific meetings and conferences as a speaker on topics related to telemedicine, cardiology and emergency rooms.
Dr. Fincati is Medical Inspector for the Italian Federation of Sports Medicine (FMSI) and consultant cardiologist for competitive sports teams and professional athletes.
He has ongoing professional responsibilities at the Italian Diagnostic Center, the nursing home/rehabilitation centers “La Madonnina” and “Columbus”, the Auxologico center, and Ricerca Diagnostica.
Since 1987 Dr. Fincati has been active in telemedicine for cardiotelephone services, he is currently a founding partner of Mediwebnet, a company that deals with Telecardiology offering a listening center for Cardiotelephone, Dynamic monitoring of blood pressure and ECG Holter WEB-based.
Since 1989 he has been the lead cardiologist at the “Larix” Sports Medicine Center which he also founded.
Since 2007 he has continued to be a national lecturer for CME courses (continuing medical education) on telemedicine and new techniques applied to medicine.
Dr. Fincati is the inventor of an ultra-portable (credit card size) electrocardiograph which is currently in development.
